Wanda Film Holding Co., Ltd. was established in 2005, belonging to the Wanda Group. As of June 30, 2014, It has 150 cinemas and 1,315 screens in more than 80 cities across the country, of which 94 are IMAX screens. In 2014, Wanda's cinemas accounted for 14.5 percent of the country's box office. Starting from 2014, Wanda Cinema added more than 400 screens per year. It is planned to open 260 cinemas by 2016, with 2,300 screens, which is the largest market share in Chinese cinemas. On January 22, 2015, Wanda Cinema was officially listed in the A share market, becoming the first film in China's cinemas.
